Sex & Health Education
Carshalton Boys Sports College also provides a comprehensive education with regard to Sex and Relationship Education and Health Education. Whilst these are primarily delivered during PSHCE and Science lessons, there is also a whole school awareness which underlines the ethos of the National Healthy School Standard.
Topics covered by students include puberty, reproduction, peer pressure on being sexually active, hygiene, management of stress, HIV and Aids.
To ensure the successful delivery of the above, specialist teachers will deliver the Health Education programme.
Additional information outlining our programme and delivery can be found by clicking here, where the relevant school policies can be found and read:

- C07 - PSHCE
Check it Out
The Check it Out Outreach Service is commissioned to provide mainstream and targeted sexual health services for young people aged 13 to 19 years old or up to 25 years if they have a special educational need or disability (SEND).
We have a drop-in service for individuals or groups of students every Thursday lunchtime in M17.
If students would like a more private 1-2-1 meeting, they can book this through their Pastoral team.
